Common Conditions

The purchase price is only one aspect of the purchase offer that the parties must agree upon. The purchase may be conditional upon (this is only a list of common clauses and by no means an exhaustive list):

• Finance to complete the purchase
• The sale of the buyer’s own home (or perhaps the seller finding a home to move into themselves)
• A Land Information Memorandum
• Inspections by various tradespeople – builder, plumber, electrician
• An escape clause
